One of the more interesting features of the 2026-S Silver Proof Set is the inclusion of the Proof Lincoln Penny. While the United States Mint stopped producing circulation-strike pennies in 2025 after more than two centuries of production, collector versions of the coin continue to be issued. The dime also receives a temporary change, replacing President Franklin D. Roosevelt with the Emerging Liberty design. This marks the first appearance of Liberty on the dime since 1945.
