On the obverse of the 2025 (P) 1 oz Eagle Privy American Silver Eagle, you’ll find Adolph A. Weinman’s well-known Walking Liberty design. This artwork has been a part of the Silver Eagle series since its debut. A new addition to the design is the Eagle Privy, placed in the right field. This small mark shows a bald eagle with outstretched wings in flight, tying in cultural symbolism and historic meaning.
The reverse showcases the U.S. Mint’s newer bald eagle artwork by Emily Damstra. Introduced in 2021, this version presents the bird from a side view, perched on an oak branch with wings partially tucked behind its body. The bold pose adds a sense of movement and reflects themes of resilience and freedom.
The 2025 Eagle Privy release follows the debut of the 2024 Star Privy—the first BU Silver Eagle to carry a privy mark. Both issues are capped at 500,000 coins, making them two of the lowest-minted BU Silver Eagles in the program’s history.
