The obverse of the coin features the timeless Walking Liberty image by Adolph A. Weinman. First seen on U.S. coins in 1916, this design shows Liberty walking toward the rising sun, wrapped in the American flag. For 2025, you’ll see the new Eagle Privy mark placed in the lower right of the field. The bald eagle, featured in the privy, holds strong symbolism for the nation and continues to be a powerful emblem of strength and unity.

On the reverse side, you’ll find the bald eagle design introduced in 2021 by artist Emily Damstra. This eagle is shown in flight, wings raised, carrying an oak branch in its talons. The bold, naturalistic pose captures both the grace and power of the bird, reinforcing its central role in American culture.
