The American Silver Eagle has been a regular release from the United States Mint since 1986. In 2024, the series saw something new for the first time—a BU Silver Eagle with a privy mark. That debut continued into the next year with the release of the 2025 Eagle Privy design. Coin Highlights:
The obverse of the 2025 (P) 1 oz Eagle Privy Silver Eagle includes Adolph A. Weinman’s classic artwork of Lady Liberty. In this image, Liberty walks toward the sun draped in the American flag, holding oak and laurel branches. To the lower-right, you’ll spot the Eagle Privy mark, showing an eagle with wings spread. This eagle design is widely recognized from official U.S. symbols, including the Great Seal and various military insignia.
On the reverse of 2025 (P) Eagle Privy American Silver Eagles, the coin showcases an American bald eagle in a modern design by Emily Damstra. This eagle appears in left-profile with its wings raised and its talons gripping an oak branch, giving the image a sense of strength and motion.
The 2025 Eagle Privy marks only the second time the U.S. Mint has included a privy on a BU Silver Eagle. Like the previous year’s Star Privy, this issue is capped at just 500,000 coins, making it one of the lowest-minted BU releases in the series and appealing to both investors and collectors.
Each of these 2025 (P) 1 oz Eagle Privy Silver Eagles is certified Mint State 70. This means the coin has its full, original luster and no visible flaws.
