The obverse of this 2025 Colorized Silver Eagle displays the well-known Walking Liberty design. Created by Adolph A. Weinman and originally seen on the US Half Dollar in 1916, the artwork shows Liberty in a flowing American flag, reaching ahead with her right arm. She carries oak and laurel branches in her left arm, heading toward the rising sun in a left-profile stance.

On the reverse, you’ll find the contemporary eagle design introduced by Emily Damstra in 2020. This version of the bald eagle shows it flying from the left side with wings up and an oak branch in its talons. The image symbolizes both strength and peace.

For this special 2025 Golden Ring edition, the Germania Mint has added two visual upgrades. The background field on both sides is coated in black ruthenium, giving it a sleek, dark finish. Then, 24-karat gold has been applied to three distinct areas: the outer edge of the coin (creating the golden ring effect), Walking Liberty on the front, and the bald eagle on the back.
