The American Silver Eagle emerged in 1986 as one of the pioneering silver bullion coins for both investors and collectors. Since then, it has cemented its position as the best-selling silver coin worldwide. Throughout the late 2010s, amidst the Great Recession and geopolitical uncertainty, the Silver Eagle shattered mintage records, further solidifying its reputation.

The obverse design of the 2023 1 oz Silver Eagle Coin showcases the beloved Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. Originally featured on the US half dollar until 1947, this exquisite depiction portrays Liberty’s left-profile figure gracefully walking towards the sun while draped in the stars and stripes of the American flag.

On the reverse side, you will discover the awe-inspiring soaring eagle design, which was introduced in mid-2021 and continues to grace the American Silver Eagle for a third consecutive year. Designed by Emily Damstra, this magnificent portrayal captures the bald eagle in left-profile relief, gracefully descending into view with an impressive oak branch clutched firmly in its talons.
