According to the traditional Chinese lunar zodiac, those blessed to be born in the Year of the Tiger (2022, 2010, 1998, 1986, 1974, 1962, and each 12th preceding year) are natural leaders, blessed with courage, charm, and confidence. The tiger is a symbol of strength and bravery.
Speaking of awesome, Perth Mint's entire Lunar Series of coins have been an outstanding global success since their first mintage, way back in 1996. At first, the Lunar New Year coins were only minted in gold, but in 1999 Perth Mint added silver coins to the line-up. These were so popular that Perth Mint retroactively minted Lunar Series I silver coins during 2008-2010 so collectors could buy silver coins to complete a full set of Lunar Series I and II.

Want to learn more? Here are the highlights of each coin in this bundle…
The obverse sides of the 1 kilo and 1 oz Year of the Tiger silver coin share the same touching design: a tiger and cub exploring a rocky landscape. Bamboo stalks frame the pair, and ferns rise from the bottom of the scene. The adult tiger gazes straight out at us, fearless, one paw raised as if to turn and challenge the viewer – beware! Behind, the cub stares upward with eyes full of adoration, utterly oblivious to whatever's engaged Dad's or Mom's attention. Honestly, it's a poignant scene that evokes the bonds of parental love and responsibility, the constant alertness the world requires from all parents. At the same time, the cub is happy, playful, fully engaged with its parent, and innocent of the outside world. This powerful and elegant distillation of complex emotions is rendered in crisp, lifelike lines.
You'll also notice, at the top center of the reverse, the character 虎 and its translation, "Tiger," along with the year of minting. The Perth Mint's "P" mintmark appears unobtrusively on the left side.
The obverse of all three coins depicts the Jody Clark portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in the diadem, wearing her Diamond Jubilee earrings.
Once again, this may be your last chance at this BullionMax exclusive 34 oz Year of the Tiger silver coin bundle! Once these silver tiger coins are gone, we'll have to wait till 2034 for the next Lunar New Year series… So what are you waiting for? Pounce on this deal before it's too late!
