2026 marks an important milestone for the American Silver Eagle bullion program from the United States Mint. First issued in 1986, this series has long featured a 1 oz coin struck in .999 fine silver that appeals to both investors and collectors. As the coin celebrates its 40th anniversary, the American Silver Eagle remains one of the most recognized silver bullion choices on the market. Right now, 2026 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins in certified condition are available from BullionMax.

Coin Highlights:

  • Comes with an individual plastic slab!
  • 40th anniversary in the American Silver Eagle Series!
  • Limited availability of certified perfect coins!
  • Contains 1 troy oz of .999 pure silver.
  • The face value of $1 (USD) is fully backed by the US government.
  • Graded Mint State 70 by the Professional Coin Grading Service.
  • First Strike.
  • On the obverse is Walking Liberty.
  • The reverse features the American bald eagle.

For decades, the American Silver Eagle has been a steady favorite in the precious metals space. It has remained popular through many ups and downs in the economy, often seeing higher demand when investors look for safe, tangible assets. During major events like the 2008 financial downturn and the COVID-19 pandemic, interest in Silver Eagles rose sharply, showing just how trusted this series has become.

The 2026 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins offered here arrive in a protective plastic slab and carry a perfect MS70 grade from PCGS. Coins at this level display full mint brilliance with no visible marks or flaws. The First Strike label is given to coins that PCGS receives within 30 days of the Mint’s release, adding another collectible detail for those who value early-issue pieces.

The obverse of the 2026 American Silver Eagle features Adolph A. Weinman’s classic Walking Liberty design. Liberty appears in left-profile, shown at full length as she moves toward the rising sun. She is wrapped in the American flag, extending her right hand ahead while holding oak and laurel branches in her left, symbolizing strength and peace.

On the reverse of the 2026 1 oz Silver Eagle is the modern bald eagle artwork. Created by Emily Damstra and introduced in 2021, this design shows the eagle in a focused downward flight with wings spread wide. In its talons, the eagle carries an oak branch, a timeless sign of endurance and national pride.
