In the long-running American Silver Eagle bullion series from the United States Mint, 2026 marks a meaningful milestone. The program began in 1986 with a 1 oz coin struck in .999 pure silver to give investors a trusted option for silver ownership. Now, forty years later, Silver Eagles are still one of the best-known and most widely collected silver bullion coins in the world. At the moment, certified 2026 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins are available at BullionMax.

Coin Highlights:

  • Arrives in an individual protective slab!
  • 40th anniversary of the Silver Eagle coins!
  • Limited availability of certified coins!
  • Contains 1 troy oz of .999 pure silver.
  • Bears a face value of $1 (USD) backed by the federal government.
  • Issued a Grade of Mint State 69 by the Professional Coin Grading Service.
  • First Strike.
  • Walking Liberty on the obverse.
  • American bald eagle on the reverse.

Each 2026 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin offered here is sealed in a durable plastic slab and certified as MS69. This grade reflects a coin that is nearly perfect, showing strong original mint luster with no more than two tiny imperfections. Any minor marks or hairlines are small enough that they do not appear in the main focal areas of the design. Coins labeled First Strike are those delivered to PCGS for grading within 30 days of the mint’s initial release.

The Silver Eagle design update introduced in 2021 came as part of a larger effort by the US Mint to modernize its bullion lineup. Along with a fresh look, the coins gained additional security details to help protect authenticity. Over the decades, the Silver Eagle has been struck at facilities such as San Francisco, Philadelphia, and West Point, and special proof and burnished editions from those mints remain popular with collectors.

The obverse of the 2026 American Silver Eagle features Adolph A. Weinman’s famous Walking Liberty design. Liberty appears in left-facing profile, draped in the American flag as she moves toward the rising sun. Her right hand stretches forward in welcome, while her left hand holds oak and laurel branches as symbols of strength and peace.

On the reverse of the 2026 1 oz Silver Eagle, you’ll find the modern bald eagle design created by Emily Damstra. Introduced in mid-2021, this image shows a powerful eagle descending toward its nest, wings spread wide, carrying an oak branch in its talons.
