The Burnished Silver Eagle was first released by the United States Mint in 2006 as a new addition to the American Silver Eagle series. Unlike the traditional bullion and proof coins, this version starts with a standard silver blank that is placed in a drum filled with small metal balls and a liquid solution. The tumbling process gently smooths the surface, giving the coin its signature soft, satin-like finish. Right now, BullionMax has 2025-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coins in flawless condition ready for purchase.
Coin Highlights:
Liberty has been a constant symbol on U.S. coinage, though the way she is shown has evolved over time. In the early 1900s, her image was reimagined during a major artistic shift under President Roosevelt. Another revival came in the 1980s when silver and gold bullion coins were introduced, always keeping Liberty as a central figure representing freedom and American ideals.
Each 2025-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coin offered here is in perfect Specimen Proof 70 condition. This grade means the coin has no flaws and retains its full original luster. Coins labeled First Day of Issue were sent to PCGS for grading within 24 hours of their official release from the mint.
The obverse side of the 2025-W Burnished Silver Eagle features the famous Walking Liberty design. Sculptor Adolph A. Weinman created this artwork in 1916. It shows Liberty moving forward toward the rising sun with the American flag over her shoulders and branches of oak and laurel in her arm.
On the reverse of the 2025-W 1 oz Burnished Silver Eagle, you’ll find a bald eagle in mid-flight. Designed by Emily Damstra, the eagle is captured with wings spread and talons extended to grab a thick oak branch. The image stands for readiness and strength.
