In 2006, the United States Mint introduced a new variety of the American Silver Eagle series. Known as Burnished Silver Eagles, these coins are made by placing raw silver blanks into a spinning drum filled with fine metal pellets and a specialized burnishing agent. This process creates a soft, satin-like finish that many collectors enjoy. Now, you can find 2025-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coins in perfect condition at BullionMax.
Coin Highlights:
Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty artwork first appeared in 1916 and was part of a coin redesign movement encouraged by President Theodore Roosevelt. Selected through a national competition led by the Commission of Fine Arts, Weinman’s design featured on the half dollar until 1947 and remains one of the most well-loved coin designs in U.S. history.
These 2025-W 1 oz Burnished American Silver Eagle Coins are graded Mint State 70, indicating perfect condition with complete mint luster and no imperfections. The First Day of Issue label means the coins were submitted for grading within 24 hours of their release from the mint.
The obverse of the 2025-W Burnished American Silver Eagle shows Liberty walking toward the sunrise. Draped in the American flag, she stretches her right hand outward while carrying oak and laurel branches in her left arm. This design by Weinman has symbolized freedom and hope for over a century.
On the reverse side of the coin, you’ll find Emily Damstra’s powerful bald eagle illustration. The eagle is shown in flight with its wings wide open as it prepares to land, holding a sturdy oak branch in its talons.
