The obverse of the 2025-S Proof American Silver Eagle carries Adolph A. Weinman’s Walking Liberty design from 1916. Liberty strides toward the rising sun, the U.S. flag draped around her shoulders, with her right arm extended forward and oak and laurel in her left.

The reverse of the 2025-S 1 oz Proof Silver Eagle features Emily Damstra’s 2021 depiction of the American bald eagle. The eagle appears in flight with wings fully spread, holding a large oak branch in its talons, and the “S” mint mark identifies San Francisco.
