The obverse of the 2025 Morgan Dollar includes George T. Morgan’s original portrait of Liberty. She is shown in profile facing left, wearing a Phrygian cap, with her long hair flowing down. A coronet and a laurel wreath adorn her head, and the design is framed with 13 stars around the edge, representing the original colonies.

On the reverse of the 2025 Morgan Silver Dollar, you’ll find the heraldic eagle. This bald eagle design, also created by Morgan, shows the bird with its wings outspread and its gaze facing forward. It holds arrows in one talon to symbolize strength and an olive branch in the other as a sign of peace.

Since early American coinage, the heraldic eagle has played a key role in U.S. currency. It reflects the country’s values and commitment to both peace and defense. The traditional pose with the olive branch in the right talon and arrows in the left remains a lasting symbol of America’s ideals.

These certified 2025 Morgan Silver Dollars are in Mint State 69 condition. Graded by the PCGS, MS69 coins have full mint luster with only a few tiny imperfections that are barely noticeable and not in focal areas. First Strike coins are ones the PCGS received for grading within 30 days of the coin’s official release from the mint.
