The obverse of the 1902-O Morgan Dollar features George T. Morgan’s image of Liberty. She appears in left-profile relief, wearing a Phrygian cap topped with a laurel wreath and a coronet inscribed with “Liberty.” Surrounding her are 13 stars representing the original colonies.

The reverse of the 1902-O Morgan Silver Dollar shows the heraldic eagle design. The eagle is positioned front-facing with its wings raised. It holds arrows in one talon for defense and an olive branch in the other for peace. A wreath wraps around the eagle’s lower half, with the national motto above.
