Each coin is packaged in an individual flip, a tube of 5 to 10 coins, or a box containing 100 coins, which typically holds 10 tubes of 10 coins each. The reverse design includes four advanced security features: a latent image, tincture lines on the Union Jack, micro-text around Britannia, and motion texture in the background waves.

The obverse of the 2026 Platinum Britannia shows the first-generation portrait of King Charles III. Introduced by The Royal Mint in 2022, this left-profile depiction shows the King without a crown. The design was created by Martin Jennings.

On the reverse, Britannia stands in full figure, holding a trident in her right hand and a Union Jack shield in her left, which also holds an olive branch. A Corinthian helmet rests on her head, blending classical style with a modern sense of identity.
