Product Details

Issued in 1989 by the Austrian Mint, the Austrian Philharmonic bullion coin series includes options in gold, silver, and platinum. The gold lineup offers the most weight choices, giving investors plenty of flexibility. This design remains one of continental Europe’s most recognized and respected. Today, 2026 1 oz Austrian Platinum Philharmonic Coins are available at BullionMax.

Coin Highlights:

  • Comes with a protective flip, a plastic tube of 10 coins, or a mint-sealed box of 100 coins!
  • 11th release of 1 oz Platinum Philharmonic Coins!
  • Contains 1 troy oz of .9995 fine platinum in BU condition.
  • The face value of 100 (Euros) is fully backed by the Austrian government.
  • On the obverse is the Great Pipe Organ.
  • The reverse features musical instruments.

The Vienna Philharmonic has long featured notable performers, including concertmaster Wolfgang Schneiderhan and principal horn player Gottfried von Freiberg, along with many other skilled musicians who helped shape the orchestra’s sound. Many members have balanced solo work with their orchestral roles, creating a setting where individual talent supports the group’s shared performance.

All 2026 1 oz Austrian Platinum Philharmonic Coins arrive in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. Single coins ship in protective flips, while larger quantities are packaged in plastic tubes of 10 coins or mint-sealed boxes of 100 coins. Each box holds 10 tubes for easy storage.

On the obverse of the 2026 Austrian Platinum Philharmonic, you’ll find the Great Pipe Organ inside the Musikverein. Originally built in 1872 by Friedrich Ladegast, the instrument has been updated and expanded over time through the efforts of multiple organ builders.

The reverse of the 2026 1 oz Platinum Philharmonic Coins showcases instruments tied to the Vienna Philharmonic. A cello and four violins are shown up front, with a bassoon, harp, and Vienna horn arranged behind them to complete the composition.

Please contact BullionMax if you have any questions about platinum coins. Our team can assist you at 800-729-3202, online using our web chat, and via our email address.
