The obverse of 2026 American Gold Eagle Coins shows Lady Liberty, designed by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. This design features Liberty stepping forward with a torch raised in her right hand and an olive branch in her left. The U.S. Capitol is visible in the background, along with sun rays and a ring of stars.

On the reverse, you’ll see a detailed left-profile portrait of an American bald eagle. Designed by Jennie Norris and introduced in 2021, this artwork was first used to mark the 35th anniversary of the Gold Eagle Series.
