She holds a torch in her right hand and an olive branch in her left, with rays of sunlight, a ring of stars, and the U.S. Capitol Building behind her.
The reverse features the latest design of the American bald eagle, which was first introduced in mid-2021. Created by Jennie Norris, this image captures the eagle in left-profile with incredible detail. The design focuses on the bird’s head and conveys the strength and focus of America’s national symbol.
