The Indiana Pacers were founded in 1967 as one of the charter franchises of the American Basketball Association (ABA). The team’s name was inspired by Indiana’s deep connection to harness racing pacers and the Indianapolis 500’s pace car. The franchise dominated the ABA, winning three championships before joining the NBA in 1976. Now, 1 oz NBA Indiana Pacers Silver Rounds are available from BullionMax.
