American Silver Eagle coins are the official silver bullion coin of the United States. Each coin in this listing was struck by the US Mint and comes from a random year. All coins feature the same iconic Walking Liberty image on the front and a bald eagle design on the back. Since their introduction in 1986, these coins have remained a trusted option for both collectors and investors.

This offering includes a 1 oz American Silver Eagle coin graded MS69, which means the coin is near-perfect with only minor imperfections. Each coin will arrive in a sealed plastic slab from one of three certification services: the Professional Coin Grading Service (PCGS), the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), or the Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC). Labels on the slab may vary and include designations like Early Release (ER) or First Strike (FS).

ER and FS labels are applied to coins that were submitted to the grading service within 30 days of the coin’s official release. In some cases, you may receive a slab with a CAC sticker, which means CAC has verified the grade given by PCGS or NGC.

The obverse of every American Silver Eagle coin features the well-known Walking Liberty design. Created by Adolph A. Weinman in 1916, the design first appeared on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar. Liberty is shown walking toward the horizon with her right hand extended and a bundle of oak and laurel in her left arm. The scene symbolizes progress and optimism for the future.

The reverse of these coins will feature either the original heraldic eagle design by John Mercanti or the newer bald eagle in flight created by Emily Damstra. Mercanti’s version was used from 1986 through mid-2021, while Damstra’s design began appearing in the second half of 2021.
