Product Details

The Canadian Silver Maple Leaf is a widely recognized silver coin that has been in production since 1988. Created by the Royal Canadian Mint, it was the first silver bullion coin to feature .9999 pure silver, setting a high standard for others that followed. These coins are often sold in groups, with plastic tubes that hold 25 coins. If you’ve got some loose Silver Maple Leafs and want to store them securely, BullionMax offers an affordable solution. Right now, we have Canadian Silver Maple Leaf Tubes (no coins) available in lightly used condition.

Product Highlights:

  • Clear acrylic tube for Silver Maple Leafs!
  • Holds up to 25 Silver Maple Leaf coins!
  • Coins are not included with the tube.
  • Light signs of wear such as scuffs or scratches may be visible.

These Silver Maple Leaf Tubes are made from acrylic and were originally used to store Royal Canadian Mint coins. Each one is capable of holding 25 individual Silver Maple Leaf coins. Since these are used tubes, you may notice some small surface marks or scratches. No coins are included with the tube—just the container itself.

The obverse of Canadian Silver Maple Leaf coins has seen several portrait updates over the years. From 1988 through 2023, the coins displayed different images of Queen Elizabeth II. Each effigy was designed by a Canadian artist. In 2024, a major change occurred: the obverse now features the image of King Charles III. His portrait was designed by Canadian artist Steven Rosati, marking the first time the Silver Maple Leaf featured a monarch other than Queen Elizabeth II.

On the reverse, every Silver Maple Leaf coin continues to showcase the iconic sugar maple leaf design created by Walter Ott in 1979. Originally developed for the Gold Maple Leaf series, this simple and detailed image has become a classic symbol on Canada’s silver bullion.
