Each 20 oz Scottsdale Mint Cast Gold Bar ships in protective plastic packaging. This size is the second-largest in the collection, coming in just below the 1 Kilo cast bar. Cast bars like these are engraved with identifying marks and often display a more rugged, natural look compared to refined minted bars.

Cast gold bars are created using time-tested molding techniques. Molten gold is poured into molds made from materials like graphite, ceramic, or steel. The gold is melted to about 1,948°F (1,064°C) before being carefully transferred into the molds.
