Coin Highlights:
The obverse of the 2026 1 oz American Silver Eagle continues to feature the Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman. Originally introduced in 1916 on the half dollar, this image shows Liberty moving left toward the rising sun. She carries oak and laurel branches in one arm and reaches out with the other, wrapped in the American flag.
On the reverse side, the coin displays a detailed bald eagle design by Emily Damstra. This artwork, first introduced in 2021, shows the eagle in mid-flight with wings spread wide. It holds an olive branch and arrows, symbols of peace and strength, as it descends toward a landing.
Since its first release in 1986, the American Silver Eagle has been struck each year by the United States Mint. This 1 oz silver coin in Brilliant Uncirculated condition continues to be a key part of the mint’s annual bullion offerings. Production reached its peak in 2015, with 47 million coins sold that year.
Each 2026 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin is available in BU condition. You’ll receive individual coins in plastic flips. For bulk purchases, coins are packaged in tubes of 20 or in Monster Boxes holding 500 coins—25 tubes total.
