The 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar release included five total issues. Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Denver struck coins for the program. The Philadelphia version carries no mint mark, while the San Francisco and Denver coins display S and D mint marks. To represent two famous historic mints that no longer operate, Philadelphia also struck coins with CC and O privy marks, honoring the old Carson City and New Orleans facilities.

On the obverse of each 2021 Morgan Dollar Coin is a left-profile portrait of Lady Liberty. First introduced in 1878, this design from George T. Morgan shows Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, a coronet crown, and a laurel wreath.

The reverse of the 2021 Morgan Silver Dollar features the classic heraldic eagle design. Originally created by Morgan in 1878, it depicts a forward-facing bald eagle with wings spread wide. The eagle holds arrows and an olive branch in its talons, symbols often tied to strength and peace.
