The Peace Dollar briefly returned to circulation in 1934 and 1935 after a six-year pause. This comeback was driven by President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s silver-buying efforts and the passing of the Silver Purchase Act. Production numbers during those years were much lower than those from the early 1920s, and 1935 marked the last regular release of the original Peace Dollar.

Each 2025 Peace Silver Dollar available here is graded Mint State 70. This means it’s in flawless condition, featuring complete mint luster and no noticeable imperfections. The First Day of Issue label is given to coins submitted for grading within 24 hours of their release by the mint.

On the obverse side of the 2025 Peace Dollar, you’ll see Liberty in profile facing left. Her hair is tied in a bun, with some strands falling loosely near her face. She wears a spiked crown on her head, symbolizing rays of light.

The reverse of the coin features a calm scene with a bald eagle resting on a stone. Its wings are folded at its side while it looks ahead. A rising sun in the distance shines light across the background, highlighting the peaceful nature of the design.
