Each 1925 Peace Silver Dollar Coin available at BullionMax is in Mint State 65 condition. These coins are high quality, showing a great luster for their age and strike. While you might notice small, scattered contact marks or a couple of larger ones, they remain in excellent condition for a coin of this vintage. You may also see small hairlines on the field of the coin.

The Peace Silver Dollar was introduced in 1921 to replace the Morgan Silver Dollar design. The 1925 edition saw a large mintage, with more than 11.7 million coins struck. The majority of these were minted in Philadelphia, making it the most common mint of the series.

On the obverse of the 1925 Peace Dollar Coin, you’ll see a profile of Lady Liberty. This elegant design shows Liberty wearing a crown of light and flowing hair. The coin also includes the national motto and the year of issue.

The reverse of the 1925 Peace Silver Dollar features a bald eagle, perched on a rock and holding an olive branch in its talons. With its wings at rest, the eagle gazes off toward the horizon, with rays of sunlight filling the background, symbolizing peace.
